The FEC released its guidance with regard to the “bundling” rules that were included in the amendments to the Lobbying Disclosure Act, entitled, the “Honest Leadership and Open Government Act” (HLOGA). While the onus for such reporting will fall principally on candidate committees, party committees and “leadership” PACs, traditional SSAs will in many instances be required to make a minor (but important) amendment to their Statements of Organization (FEC 1).
